6.2.4 Setting up the Chicago Operation With IPX Protocol

In this example, the Chicago LAN is going to be configured with unique network numbers for each frame type.

All frames are enabled. Each frame type in this example has a network number assigned in Figure 6-2.

1. From the console PC, load Windows® and at the RouteFinder

2. When the Router Setup Main Screen is displayed, click on the IPX button.

3. The IPX Virtual Port Setup dialog box is displayed with the RAW tab highlighted.

4. Click on the Advanced button and when the IPX General Setup dialog box is displayed, click on the Auto

Learn Ethernet Network Numbers check box to disable Auto Learn.
